Final total trail mileage: 118 miles
So this is the end. Yesterday was my last day of work. Today was the last day of services. And tomorrow is the last day of living in Gardiner, Montana. It’s been a summer full of growth and worth and memories. I’m definitely going to miss Yellowstone, and my ministry team and everyone involved with it. But it’s about that time to move on whether I like it or not. I don’t want to leave but I am ready to go. There are things to be excited about after Yellowstone.
Tuesday, I take off, taking the long road home. I’ll visit the Tetons, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches, the Grand Canyon, as well as other memorable places. It’ll be a long, possibly lonesome, trip but it’ll be well worth it. There will be plenty of time for reflection and meditation, for prayer and exploration. So please pray for me on my way home. I’ll need as much as I can get.
This is the last blog for the Yellowstone summer, but another is coming. I’ll be journaling throughout my two weeks of traveling and adventuring and will post it later. So look forward to that. I’ll probably post a link on this blog if you want to check that out.
